Metrics & Miles
NB Vongo V6

Hey there, and welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m a 27-year-old plumber by trade, juggling a full-time job, a couple of side hustles, and still finding time to lace up and hit the pavement. Running isn’t just something I do—it’s part of how I live. Especially long-distance running, with a particular love for the marathon grind. There’s something about pushing limits that speaks to me, whether it’s at mile 22 or after a 10-hour workday.

This blog is my space to share what I’ve learned (and what I’m still learning) about running—no fluff, no hype, just real talk from someone who’s trying to balance a "normal" life with serious training goals.

Here’s what you can expect from me:

  • Product Reviews: I’ll give honest takes on running shoes, clothing, hydration options, gels, watches, and anything else I use in my training. If it helps—or hinders—my performance, you’ll hear about it.
  • Training Thoughts: I’ll share what’s working for me, what’s not, and how I adjust my plans around work, life, and everything in between. I’m not a pro, just someone who’s trying to stay consistent without losing his mind.
  • Lifestyle Balance: Because not everyone can train like an elite. I’ll dive into what it looks like to chase PRs while managing work shifts, side jobs, relationships, and a social life (what’s left of it, anyway).

This isn’t a glossy influencer page or a "10 tips to get faster overnight" kind of blog. It’s for the everyday runner—the weekend warrior, the 5 a.m. grinder, the “fit it in when you can” crew. If that sounds like you, stick around.

More posts coming soon with gear breakdowns, marathon prep insights, and probably a few complaints about tempo runs after a 12-hour day.

Thanks for being here & don't forget to go one more mile
